Technology shapes the way we think, act and behave- even more so over the past 10 months. People have modified their entire routines in order to survive during this pandemic. Home used to be just a place, and now, home has become every place. The internet played a vital supporting role in being able to substitute all the different aspects of our lives from BC (before Covid). Whether it is online classes for children vs. going to school, collaborative tools for work vs. going to office, or exercise videos to stay fit vs. going to the gym... People have had to think creatively and adapt at incredible speeds to get through this year without going absolutely mental. I for one, cannot imagine the past few months without the internet - the comfort, control and connectivity it provided me during a time when those things were nowhere to be found. 

As someone who grew up on the internet, it has been instrumental in shaping who I am today. With every generation’s dependency on the it increasing, it is important to understand how to get the most out of the internet, without letting it control you. Bit by bit is a celebration and critique of technology and digital culture. Let's learn, discuss and become more responsible (internet) explorers together.
